![]() When I began growing my beard, I decided to grow out the hair on my head as well so it was clear I needed a quality barber. Below is a photo session from 2021 as I celebrated my 48th birthday in lockdown.īarbering and grooming and moistuirising oh my. ![]() ![]() □ Not only did it resolve my barber complexity, but it made grooming a simple and enjoyable task and conveniently made me look like a bad ass! Ha. A simple shaved head and a bushy daddy stache. Instead I reached for the clippers and gave myself a look I hadn’t had since 2011. Well after months of repeated lockdowns in the UK in 2020 with barber shops opening and closing, I finally decided to give up the pursuit of trying to adorn a well-sculpted beard and haircut. And as you likely know by now, my sexy husband has always sported his iconic stache and it is certainly one of the attributes that attracted me to him in the first place! Every year, many men even sport a mustache to celebrate Movember, which happens every November and men grow mustaches to encourage donations and support for men’s key health issues. The are classic, sexy, and represent that quintessential masculine look. In addition to being genuinely handsome, these three men have donned impeccable beards of various lengths over the years and have a rough-yet-classy tattooed look that I find oh-so-very sexy.Īlthough a beard dominated my facial hair look for years, I’ve always been intrigued by and attracted to men with mustaches. In my view, they helped to drive a resurgent beard trend and it was great to see so many men explore this timeless look. The English Ricki Hall, the Scottish Christopher John Millington, and the Australian Chris Perceval. Either way I still embrace the no shave life! □□□□ĭuring my peak beard years, I was inspired by a few men who certainly solidified the look as a bold and strong style statement of edgy masculinity. Since its peak, my beard slowly retreated in various forms, and as of 2021 it disappeared almost entirely in favour of my rediscovered mustached look. In 2013, I decided to stop shaving all together, and my beard grew to a magnificent length, climaxing in 2015. I’ve enjoyed sporting a goatee, a short-cropped beard, sideburns, a bushy stache, and of course the epic long beard. Over the years I’ve personally channeled this masculine energy through donning some kind of facial hair.
